Get to Know Our Customers

For more than 20 years, Our Gift Biz has been creating opportunities for our clients to connect with their partners, employees and customers.  I had a chance to talk with one of our long-time customers and her thoughts on the importance of gift-giving.  Marge Kling is a CPA and owner of Inspired Accounting. She uses Our Gift Biz when she needs help with getting the right gift for the right occasion.  Read what she has to say.

Why do think gift-giving is important?

I’ve always appreciated receiving gifts from my vendors, and I suspect many people feel the same way. Giving gifts is not a requirement, but it demonstrates that you value that individual. It’s like having fresh flowers in the house, it’s not necessary, but they sure are enjoyable.

Why do you rely on Our Gift Biz to design and send gifts to your clients?

Working with Becky and the team at Our Gift Biz makes my life easier. Becky is easy to work with and has great creativity and new ideas that help make gifts more special.  Also, she has gifts ready to ship on her website, so if I realize I need something at 11 pm, ordering online is a convenient option for me.

What are your favorite items that Our Gift Biz offers?

The Happy Plate is my favorite.  It’s affordable, small, and just delightful.  I also give the French Truffles. It’s an easy to give gift and always well-liked.

What’s the best compliment you received because you sent a thoughtful gift?

Our Gift Biz created a custom gift for one of my clients and the personal touches really impressed.

“You are amazing. You did not have to send a gift basket. When I opened it it brought tears to my eyes. You are amazing and I am forever grateful to have you as our accountant! Everything we tasted has been delicious (almost like it was all handpicked for us). And the Raven’s blanket, etc. It’s too much!”

Do you have any advice for a business owner who wants to get started with gift-giving?

Start small and make it a habit. Also, consider making a gift more spontaneous when it’s not expected. Gift-giving doesn’t have to happen at Christmas.
