1st quarter of 2011 is almost over…
Posted by Becky Briggs on 3/21/2011
This year is almost one-third over. And they say “where does the time go?”

Yep we all have the same number of seconds in a day, but how do we spend those seconds. Are we doing things differently today, than we did last year or the year before? Many of us are not. And that equals one big missed opportunity!

If you are a little stymied by the lack of new clients in your book of business ask yourself this? When is the last time you took a Business Pulse survey to see what your clients are really thinking about you. You may determine you are leaving money on the table by not staying in touch with your customers.

Here is the good news. We have experts we can learn from and we don’t have to reinvent the wheel.

I had the pleasure of attending another Brian Buffini conference a few weeks ago. Brian heads an international coaching company which specializes in Referral Systems. I have used his recommendations for years and think you will benefit from his expertise, also. His unique approach helps his clients stay focused on the fundamentals of a good business plan, including a budget and a referral based program with firm goals and accountablility. He stressed that the key is being consistent, following the plan and taking action daily.

Brian also emphasized the importance of using your database and staying in touch with your clients in ways such as:
  • Sending cards
  • Scheduling Pop-Bys with a gift
  • Holding "A+" client lunches
  • Attending business to business meetings
Let's face it. Staying in front of your clients can feel like a monumental challenge amid the never-ending list of other business operations that require your attention. As a business owner, I get it! For this reason, I have designed my company, Our Gift Biz, to provide the SYSTEMS you need to save time, energy, and money in helping your clients "feel good".

From sending cards to designing Pop-By gifts, let us show you how easy it really can be! We have some great ideas for you to use and products which will make you stand out and be remembered. The easier it is for you to execute this, the better results you will have!!!

Check our website for ideas and call 301-762-1225 for assistance with this. You will be amazed at what a new approach can do for building relationships that last!
